Passenger in Semi Truck Killed
According to The Gazette, the retired Army Brigadier General joined another truck driver to help rescue the man, who appeared to be on fire, from the crash site.

The Iowa State Patrol said there were two victims involved in the crash, both in the semi. Both people were taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
The passenger in the accident died of his injuries Friday afternoon, according to a release from the Iowa State Patrol.
An investigation will reportedly focus on the condition of the Interstate, the speed of the truck, possible mechanical defects or problems with the truck, and the state and condition of the driver.
