Product Recalls for the Week of July 25, 2016:

• Frigidaire and Kenmore Wall Ovens: Electrolux Home Products, Inc. is recalling its Frigidaire and Kenmore-branded electric single and double wall ovens. The thermal switch on the ovens can malfunction due to improper manufacturing, posing a fire hazard to consumers. They were sold in black, white or stainless steel. The single ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 32 inches tall and 25 inches deep. The double ovens measure about 24 inches wide, 51 inches tall and 25 inches deep.  “Kenmore” or “Frigidaire” is printed below the oven window. The model and serial numbers are located on the left side trim on the inside of the oven. Products included in this recall can be found here. Frigidaire ovens were sold by Knie Appliance and TV, Inc. in Illinois from March 2016 through April 2016, and Kenmore ovens were sold exclusively at Sears stores nationwide and online at www.sears.com. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ovens and contact Electrolux or Sears to schedule a free inspection and free repair. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly. • Smocked Threads by Cecil & Lou Children’s Nightgowns: Smocked Threads by Cecil & Lou is recalling its children’s nightgowns because the products fail to meet federally flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children. This recall involves girl’s Smocked Threads by Cecil & Lou 100% cotton tunic nightgowns. They were sold in a pink and white checkered pattern with white piping trim in sizes 12 months to 8. The nightgowns have buttons on the center front and on each cuff at the wrist and a pocket on the left side of the chest. “C&L Smocked Threads by Cecil and Lou” is printed on a neck label. The gowns were sold exclusively online at www.cecilandlou.com from January 2016 through June 2016. Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and return them to the firm for a full refund. Cecil & Lou is contacting all known purchasers directly. Recall Date: 7/26/2016

• Inovonics pendant transmitters, universal transmitters and add-on receivers: Inovonics is recalling its pendant transmitters, universal transmitters and add-on receivers because the products can fail to send or receive a signal for help in an emergency. Recalled models include EN1210, EN1223S, EN1233S and EN4232MR. The EN1223S and EN1233S wireless pendant transmitters allow users to push a button to summon assistance. “Inovonics” is printed on all the devices except on model EN1223S. The model number appears on a label on the back of the device. The date code is printed on the carton label and on the circuit board inside the device. More information about the recalled devices can be found here. The units were sold at authorized dealers and distributors nationwide form March 2016 through June 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled transmitters and receiver and contact Inovonics for a free replacement. Recall Date: 7/26/2016

• UComfy Neck and Shoulder Heat Wrap: E. Mishan & Sons, Inc. (Emson) is recalling its UComfy Neck and Shoulder Heat Wrap because the product can overheat, posing a burn hazard. The product is an electric powered wrap that provides heat to the user’s neck, shoulders and upper back.  The wraps come in two colors: beige (item number 9700FE) and blue (item number 9699FE).  The item numbers appear on the product washing instructions label.  The electric controller unit states “TYPE HP74.” The connection between the power supply and the heat wrap has 4 prongs. Ucomfy is printed at the top of the white label attached to the heat wraps. The product was sold at HSN, Groupon and other online retailers from October 2015 through November 2015. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heat wraps and contact Emson to receive a free replacement wrap. Emson is contacting all known purchasers directly. Recall Date: 7/27/2016

• Zolpidem Tartrate Sublingual tablets: Novel Laboratories (a LUPIN Group Company) is recalling Zolpidem Tartrate Sublingual tablets because the packaging for the prescription drug is not child-resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packaging Act, posing a risk of poisoning if swallowed by children. This recall involves 1.75 mg and 3.5 mg Zolpidem Tartrate sublingual (rapid dissolve) tablets from Novel Laboratories. The prescription medication is a sleep drug. The packaging for the 1.75 mg tablets has lot number M16140A, 1.75 mg and national drug code (NDC) 43386-762-30. The packaging for the 3.5 mg tablets has lot number M16144A, 3.5mg and national drug code (NDC) 43386-761-30. The Zolpidem Tartrate is packaged as a single tablet in a peel-and-push blister pack inside an outer open-ended pouch with 30 pouches per box. The lot number and an expiration date of 02/2018 are printed on the bottom left of the pouches. The NDC is printed on the top left corner of the boxes. “Gavis” is printed in blue on the center of the white boxes and pouches. The product was sold at clinics and pharmacies nationwide, including CVS, Costco, Walgreens, Kroger, and Wegmans from March 2016 through May 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tablets and contact Novel Laboratories for instructions to receive a full refund. Recall Date: 7/27/2016

• Patriot Power Generators: Lekker LLC is recalling its Patriot Power Generator 1500 watt because the battery sold with the generator can catch fire, posing a fire hazard to the user or bystanders. The generators were sold in black or dark blue with “Patriot Power Generator” printed on the right side of the unit. The recalled generators have serial numbers U14040001 through U14041092 and U14110001 through U14111092 printed on a sticker in the upper right hand corner of the rear panel of the unit. The generators measure about 18 inches long by 10 inches wide by 12 inches tall. Products were sold exclusively online at www.4patriots.com from November 2014 through April 2015. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled generators and contact 4Patriots for instructions on receiving a free replacement generator. Recall Date: 7/28/2016

• STUBAI Ice Axes: STUBAI ZMV GmbH and Liberty Mountain are recalling ice axes because the knife in the handle can detach, posing a laceration or impact hazard to the user or bystanders. This recall involves the STUBAI Tour Lite Telescope ice axe. The red and black axe ranges about 20 to 35 inches long with an aluminum head that is 9 inches long and 1 inch wide. “STUBAI” is printed on the top side of the axe above the black gripper. The axe weighs about one pound and can be adjusted from about 23 to 37 inches. The batch number is printed on the head and on the top of the shaft on the axe. The batch numbers included in this recall are: 865 on the head and 870 on the shaft. The products were sold at Hansen Mountaineering, International Rocky Trade, Mount Hunt Supplies and online at www.campsaver.com from June 2015 through June 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ice axe and contact STUBAI for instructions on receiving a free replacement axe. Recall Date: 7/28/2016

• Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits: Kwik Trip, Inc. is recalling Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits in an 8.25 oz. cup because they may contain undeclared traces of peanuts. This recall was initiated after peanut was discovered in granola mix from an outside supplier. The Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfait is an 8.25 oz. cup, UPC CODE 3977918435. The Kitchen Cravings Mixed Berry Parfait is an 8.25 oz. cup, UPC CODE 3977918436, both products were sold at Kwik Trip convenience stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa (Kwik Star) with a sell by date on or before 7/31/2016. Consumers who are allergic to peanuts and have purchased the Strawberry or Mixed Berry Parfait cups on or before 7/21/2016 are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Recall Date: 7/22/2016

• Bakery Products: Weis Markets is issuing a voluntary recall for 30 bakery products including muffins, cookies, shortbread and baked bread items due to the potential presence of small metal fragments (2-9mm) in the sugar topping used on these products. This voluntary action is being taken due to the supplier’s recall of the sugar ingredient. The muffins are packaged in a plastic medium salad container. The loaf bread and cookies are packaged in a plastic hinged container, and the Irish soda bread is packaged in a plastic bag. The sell by date can be found at the bottom of the scale label affixed to the packaging. Products included in this recall were distributed in Weis Markets’ stores, specific product names and information are listed here. Consumers who have purchased these items are advised not to consume them and return them to the store where originally purchased. Weis Markets is cooperating with the FDA on this recall and is working to ensure the packages are removed from store shelves and are no longer distributed. Recall Date: 7/22/2016

• Wild Boar Brotwurst Products: House of Smoke, Inc. is recalling approximately 4,692 pounds of Wild Boar Brotwurst products due to nitrite levels in excess of the regulatory limit, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The Smoked Wild Boar Brotwurst items were produced and packed on various dates from April 27, 2015 to July 12, 2016. The products with the following lot numbers are subject to recall: 517240, 515160, 517160, 518070, 514080, 511380, 518090, 517001, 513211, 512221, 614110, 616210, 614050, 618150, 616060, 613160, 617070, and 612170. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 6273” inside the USDA mark of inspection. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Recall Date: 7/22/2016

• General Mills Retail Flour: Due to four new confirmed illnesses, General Mills is adding additional flour production dates to the previously announced U.S. retail flour recall that was originally announced on May 31, 2016. The illnesses reported to health officials continue to be connected with consumers reporting that they ate or handled uncooked dough or ate uncooked batter made with raw flour. No illnesses have been connected with flour that has been properly baked, cooked or handled. Previously announced recalled flour production dates ranged from November 4, 2015 through December 4, 2015. The expansion announced today includes select production dates through February 10, 2016. The new recall applies only to the specific product and date codes listed here. Consumers are asked to throw away any flour in their possession that is part of this recall. • Meijer Fresh Salad Products: Meijer is announcing a recall of select fresh salads and sandwiches due to a potential risk of Salmonella contamination. The Markets of Meijer Salads and Sandwiches were sold in Meijer stores from 7/20/16 to 7/25/16. The salads and sandwiches contain a cooked egg ingredient sourced from Prime Foods, LLC, a Meijer supplier. Prime Foods LLC has notified Meijer of a positive test for Salmonella on their product. A list of affected products can be found here. Customers should stop using the product and either dispose of it or return it to the customer service desk at any Meijer store for a full refund. Recall Date: 7/26/2016

• Let’s Do Lunch Ready-to-Eat Sandwiches: Let’s Do Lunch, Inc., dba Integrated Food Service (IFS), is expanding the scope of their June 19, 2016, voluntarily recall of certain ready-to-eat sandwiches because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The company is working closely with FDA officials and has voluntarily expanded the recall to include products produced between 5/18/16 and 6/16/16. The products were distributed to foodservice distributors in eight States. No retail products are affected by this recall. The schools and foodservice distributors were located in the following states: CA, MI, NC, NM, OH, PA, TX, VA, WA. On the IFS website, customers will find a list of school districts that received the products being recalled. The company is thoroughly communicating the details of the recall and is notifying customers and distributors to hold any product that may be in frozen storage until arrangements can be made to return or destroy the product. IFS will work closely with schools and school foodservice distributors until the company can assure that no recalled product remains in their locations. Recall Date: 7/26/2016

• Non-Intact Beef Products: Good Food Concepts, LLC, doing business as Ranch Foods Direct, is recalling approximately 2,606 pounds of non-intact beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The non-intact beef items were produced on June 6, 7, and 8, 2016. A full list of recalled products can be found here. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “EST. 27316” inside the USDA mark of inspection and “PACKED ON” dates of June 6, 7, and 8, 2016. These items were shipped to wholesale and retail locations in Colorado. FSIS and the company are concerned that some product may be frozen and in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Recall Date: 7/26/2016

• Dried Chicken Noodle Soup Mix Products: The TDL Group Corp. is recalling approximately 636 pounds of dried chicken noodle soup mix products that were imported from Canada and not presented to FSIS for re-inspection upon entry to the United States, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The Tim Hortons chicken noodle soup mix items were produced in Canada on May 16, 2016, and imported to the United States on or around July 16, 2016. The following products are subject to recall: 16.9 oz./481 g plastic bagged packages of “Tim Hortons Chicken Noodle Soup Mix” with case code “CANADA S519” and Canadian health certificate number of 617844. Each case contains eight (8) bags. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “Canada 368.” These items were shipped to restaurants in Maine, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Recall Date: 7/27/2016

• Raw Beef Products: PT Farm, LLC is recalling approximately 8,800 pounds of raw beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The raw, intact and non-intact beef product items (ground beef, ground beef patties and other sub-primal cuts) were produced between June 6 and June 16, 2016. The following products are subject to recall: various weights and various sizes of raw intact and raw non-intact “Chestnut Farms” beef products packed in cardboard boxes; various weights and various sizes of raw intact and raw non-intact “PT Farm” beef products packed in cardboard boxes; various weights and various sizes of raw intact and raw non-intact “Miles Smith Farm” beef products packed in cardboard boxes; and various weights and various sizes of raw intact and raw non-intact “Robie Farm” beef products packed in cardboard boxes. The products subject to recall bear establishment number “M8868” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations and for institutional use in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. FSIS and the company are concerned that some product may be frozen and in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Recall Date: 7/28/2016

• John Deere Gator Utility Vehicles: Deere & Company is recalling Gator utility vehicles because the fuel hose could leak or separate when the fuel system is pressurized, posing a fire hazard. This recall involves John Deere High-Performance Gator™ RSX860i TB and RSX860i TE utility vehicles manufactured in June 2016 with serial numbers beginning with 1M0860T. The recalled utility vehicles are four-wheel with side-by-side seating for two people and have a green hood and yellow rims. A complete list of serial numbers included in this recall is on the firm’s website. The model number is printed on the hood and John Deere is printed on the cargo box. The serial number is located on the frame at the rear of the machine above the hitch. The vehicles were sold at John Deere dealers nationwide from June 2016 through July 2016. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair. John Deere is contacting all registered owners of the recalled utility vehicles directly. Recall Date: 7/28/2016

• Fresh Finds Ground Turmeric Powder: Gel Spice, Inc. is recalling one lot of Fresh Finds Ground Turmeric Powder because the product contains elevated lead levels. The recalled “Fresh Finds Ground Turmeric” is packaged in 3.75 oz. PET jars.  It has a code of B/B 03/08/19 and B/B 05/18/19 on the neck of the container.The package also has a UPC code of 81026-01230.  The product was distributed at Big Lots Stores throughout the United States. Routine sampling by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets’ food inspectors and subsequent analysis of the product by the New York State Food Laboratory revealed the elevated level of lead. Consumers who have purchased “Fresh Finds Ground Turmeric” should discard the product. Recall Date: 7/28/2016

• Chapel Hill Creamery Cheese Products: Chapel Hill Creamery in Chapel Hill, NC, has announced a voluntary recall of all Chapel Hill Creamery cheese products because of a potential association with an outbreak of Salmonella infections. Health officials have identified recent cases of Salmonella infection in persons who consumed Chapel Hill Creamery products. A matching strain of Salmonella has been identified in the milk from the creamery that was used during preparation of the cheese products. The products involved in the voluntary recall include all codes, packages and sizes of the following varieties of cheese manufactured by Chapel Hill Creamery and distributed through retail locations, Farmer’s Markets or restaurants throughout North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Types of cheese included in the recall can be found here. The Creamery will provide updated information on its web site as it becomes available. Chapel Hill Creamery has requested wholesale customers to remove any CHC cheese from their shelves and dispose of it. Consumers who have this product in their home should not consume it and should dispose of it. Customers are reminded to thoroughly wash their hands and any utensils or equipment that may have contacted the cheese in warm, soapy water. Recall Date: 7/29/2016

• Meat Pasta Products: Gourmet Pasta Products USA, LLC, doing business as Casa di Trevi, is recalling approximately 845 pounds of meat pasta products that were packed, labeled, and distributed without the benefit of federal inspection, are misbranded, and contain undeclared allergens, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. The products contain meat and non-meat components containing multiple ingredients, and the firm failed to sub-list these ingredients on the finished product labels.  Some of the recalled products were formulated with sodium nitrite and sodium erythorbate, restricted ingredients and ingredients of public health concern, and some of the products contain isolated soy protein and hydrolyzed soy, known allergens, all of which were not declared on the finished product label. Finally, some products are labeled with the FSIS mark of inspection applied by Casa di Trevi without authorization from the Secretary of Agriculture. The heat treated, not fully cooked, not shelf stable meat pasta products were packaged between Feb. 1, 2016 and July 20, 2016. A full list of recalled products can be found here. Products subject to recall may not bear the USDA mark of inspection, or may incorrectly bear FSIS establishment number “8419” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were distributed to retail and wholesale customers in New Jersey. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase. Recall Date: 7/28/2016
