According to news reports, a man filed a lawsuit in Illinois’ Madison County Circuit Court alleging that he was injured when a tire detached from another driver’s truck and struck his automobile. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was driving north on State Route 157 on June 4, 2013, when the defendant, driving a large commercial vehicle, lost the driver-side real dual tire.
