Couple Alleges AndroGel was Falsely Advertised
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved AndroGel in 2000 as a treatment for males with medically diagnosed low testosterone. The 61-year-old man who filed the lawsuit suffered from hypogonadism, which involves diminished or lack of testosterone production, a vital male hormone.
